The field of communication sciences examines the behavioral, cognitive, and neurological features of communication across the life-span. Communicative Disorders students at The University of Alabama explore all aspects of speech and language development and disorders in individuals. We offer both an undergraduate (B.A.) degree in Communicative Disorders and a graduate (M.S.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Our program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
